The practice behind the courses

Who builds NAVAC Academy — and how

NAVAC Academy isn't content licensed from elsewhere. It's written by the advisory practice behind NAVAC GLOBAL, from the work we do with leaders across East Africa. Here's exactly who we are, and how the material is made.

The practice

NAVAC GLOBAL is a Nairobi-based advisory practice working with chief executives and founders to turn leadership capability into measurable performance — stronger teams, sharper execution, and growth that lasts beyond a single quarter.

The Academy is how we take what usually happens in a room with one leadership team and make it available to many — the same frameworks, the same hard questions, the same insistence on doing the work rather than just understanding it. It exists because good leadership development shouldn't require a consulting budget to reach a talented manager in Nakuru or a founder in Kisumu.

How the material is built

Four commitments in every course

Step 01

Built from real advisory work

Every course starts from the rooms we actually sit in — boardrooms, leadership offsites, hard conversations with founders across East Africa. The frameworks are the ones we use with clients, not theory assembled for a syllabus.

Step 02

Grounded in named sources

Where a course uses an established idea, we name where it comes from — Fisher & Ury on negotiation, Goleman on emotional intelligence, Lencioni on accountability, Kotter on change. You get the lineage, not a rebrand of someone else's thinking.

Step 03

Localized to how business works here

The worked cases are set in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu — a SACCO in Nyeri, a logistics firm on Mombasa Road, a county health rollout in Machakos. Real roles, real dilemmas, figures in shillings. Not a Silicon Valley case study with the names swapped.

Step 04

Designed to be used, not just watched

Each lesson ends in a decision to make, a quiz to pass, or a capstone you commit and save to your account. The certificate is earned by doing the work — practising the moves on your own team and situation — not by clicking through.

What we hold ourselves to

The standards behind the work

  • We cut filler. A lesson is short because your time is the scarcest thing you own.
  • We tell you who a course is not for. Confidence to exclude is a mark of respect.
  • We never fake proof. No borrowed testimonials, no invented statistics, no manufactured urgency.
  • We keep the price and the promise honest — what we say a course gives you is what it gives you.
We'd rather one leader finish a course and change one real decision on Monday than a thousand collect certificates that change nothing.

What learners say

Founding cohort

Results, in their own words — soon.

We launched NAVAC Academy recently, and we'll be straight with you: there is no wall of testimonials here yet. Our founding cohort is working through the courses now. As they tell us what changed — a promotion earned, a deal closed, a team that finally runs without them — their words will appear here, named and real.

We'd rather show you an honest empty space than borrow someone else's quote.

Our promise on paid courses

The four free courses let you judge the quality before you spend a shilling — start any of them in one click, no sign-up needed. When you unlock a paid course or the annual all-access pass, you pay securely by M-Pesa and the course opens automatically once your payment is confirmed. No auto-renewing traps, no fine print.

Next Step

Build stronger leaders. Improve performance. Grow with confidence.

In a confidential executive briefing, a senior NAVAC partner will help you pinpoint the single highest-leverage shift for your organization — and what it would take to make it.
